Warehouse Worker – Driver

We are looking for a hardworking and experienced candidate to join us as a

DRIVER / WAREHOUSE WORKER

You will be required to pick orders and load items from the warehouse safely, work together with our sales & service team, work clean and tidy and you will deliver the goods to the appropriate customer addresses.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders from the warehouse and load the trucks in a safe and neat way.
• Communicate with the sales & service team about the ideal routing and priorities
• Deliver the goods to the customer address and assist customers with placing the goods in the assigned storage rooms.
• Communicate with customers about their orders in case they have any questions or requests.
• Manage the paperwork associated with the deliveries.
• Using lifting equipment to pick orders for deliveries
• Ensuring a tidy and neat warehouse
• Ensuring a tidy and neat vehicle
• Communicate about any issues regarding the warehouse, vehicles or customer deliveries
• Work closely together with the sales & service team for excellent customer satisfaction
• Follow all transportation laws and have a clean driving record
• Other assignments given by  the Warehouse Manager
• Report to the Warehouse Manager

 Requirements

• High school diploma, an education in logistics is an advantage
• Proven experience as a warehouse driver, delivery driver or similar role in logistics
• Drivers license and a clean driving record
• Knowledge and experience with warehouse inventory management procedures
• Ability to follow safe driving practices
• Problem solver and a good team player
• Trustworthy and customer service minded
